Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-renowned FMCG manufacturer in Leicester. You'll be responsible for ensuring minimal downtime across all production equipment, responding swiftly to breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance tasks. This will be a 6 week rotating pattern of days and nights.

Key Responsibilities:

Reactive maintenance and breakdown response on machinery
Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems
Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operation
Maintain accurate maintenance records

Requirements:

Engineer with relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
Experience in a similar role such as (multi skilled engineer, shift engineer, shift technician, engineering technician or electrical maintenance engineer)
Strong experience in an FMCG, food, or similar fast-paced manufacturing environment
Confident with mechanical and electrical fault finding
Ability to work independently.
