Mechanical Project Engineer - Leicester - Hybrid - Paying up to £50,000 depending on experience  Car  Bonus About the Company Due to rapid growth, we are working with a well-established engineering business based in Northamptonshire on their hunt for a Project Engineer! The company specialises in mechanical and ventilation projects across a variety of industries. This role is hybrid but would require once a week in the office in Northamptonshire. The successful candidate must have a full, clean driving licence. Mechanical Project Engineer - The Details Paying between £45,000 and £50,000 depending on experience Brand new company car Uncapped commission Various perks and benefits Flexible working Mechanical Project Engineer - Responsibilities & Requirements Manage projects end-to-end: enquiry handling, site visits, specification, design, quoting, scheduling, installation, and customer handover Work with the Project Coordinator to plan projects, create Gantt charts, and manage resources and timelines.

Liaise with clients, ensuring clear communication and smooth project delivery. Support the team where needed, with shadowing at the start to learn internal processes. Take ownership of your projects, maintaining oversight from start to finish. Travel to client sites within ~1 hour of Northampton (national projects may arise). Proven experience in project engineering or mechanical design, ideally within ventilation, dust, or fume extraction systems.

Strong technical knowledge, including design and specification of systems;
AutoCAD/3D software experience is a plus Highly proactive, confident in following up on opportunities and closing deals. Excellent organisational, communication, and presentation skills.
