Industrial Refrigeration Engineer Job Leicester area,England UK,Engineering

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer (North) to cover various customer locations throughout the Midlands and East parts of the country (East Midlands, South Yorkshire & Lincolnshire).

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively deliver engineering tasks, including maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, and warehouses, covering equipment such as Recip, Scroll, Screw compressor packs, including Ammonia, Co2 & HFC/HFO installations.

Carry out service and reactive breakdown cover during normal working hours, supporting out-of-hours work through a standby rota.

Observe internal and client support functions to meet customer and business objectives.

Ensure all engineering tasks are supported with appropriate commercial awareness and business system compliance.

Maintain the quality of each engineering task, ensuring all practices are followed according to contract responsibilities.

Conform to industry best practices and legislative guidelines.

Qualifications,

Skills & Experience:

Proven knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration engineering services sector and customer expectations.

Technical competencies and certificates such as 2079 Refrigerant handling, ACRIB, Ammonia.

Completed a recognized training course or apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.

Good knowledge of maintenance & service duties on medium to large industrial applications.

Experience with large central plant diagnosis and fault-finding, including refrigeration compressors like Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, Mycom, etc.
