About usRivan Industries is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise industries you can’t electrify. We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO₂ locked underground.
We’re looking for a Technical Designer to craft how we communicate our technology in the real world. This means taking inherently complex designs, and distilling into something clear for customers, investors, employees, partners, local residents, government and everyone in‑between. We’re in need of someone that understands engineering design and has a flair for renders, iconography, visual graphics, and easy‑to‑interpret diagrams.
The role- High-level project and specific component level renders
- Large-scale 1GW future projects and sites for investors, customers and government
- Component-level solar mounting and cabling, reactor skid, and all peripheral hardware
- Graphics that explain what we do
- Sub-system explainers on how our electrolyser, reactor, solar, DAC and other hardware works for a new audience. Both 3D and 2D
- High-level breakdowns of how Rivan captures CO2 from the sky and turns it into a useful product
- Clearly detailing how our system gets built in the real world, with specific tolerancing, distances and integrations
- System diagraming
- How everything fits together, and the relationship of power, water, sunlight and heat across our system
- These may be 3D, line-diagrams, or other design type
- Visual presentations and media
- Help build customer, government, and key stakeholder presentations using all of the above designs
- This will be across website, presentations, and any other 3rd-part media with a clear, sophisticated and simple brand image
- 3-5+ years professional experience with rendering, AutoCAD, diagraming and other complex designs
- Experience with Solidworks and other CAD softwares
- Experience with engineering design (technical drawings and other)
- Help own photography and visual media

- £40-50k Salary depending on experience
