We’re looking for a passionate SEND Specialist Tutor to join a supportive, inclusive learning environment. In this role, you’ll help young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) overcome barriers, gain essential life skills, and prepare for adulthood with confidence. You’ll deliver tailored, engaging learning experiences aligned with students’ EHCP outcomes, collaborating with Learning Support Assistants and wider teams to provide challenge, empowerment, and meaningful progression.

• PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience supporting students with SEND
• Level 2 or above in English and Maths
• Evidence of ongoing professional development
• Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion

Desirable:

• Level 2 or above in Autism awareness (or willingness to work towards)
• Experience delivering and assessing qualifications and RARPA

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to plan and deliver effective, student-centred learning
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Collaborative, proactive, and flexible approach
• Genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young people
