Main duties and responsibilitiesFaculty / Directorate

It is home to the Leicester School of Allied Health Sciences in which this post will be based.
- You would work as part of a team, primarily delivering high quality teaching and training across a range of programmes.
- In addition to routine adult or paediatric aural diagnostics and rehabilitation, we are particularly interested in expertise in the areas of anatomy and physiology of the ear and/or acoustics and psychoacoustics.
- The department has some of the best facilities for teaching audiology and you would be involved in maintaining and developing this area.
- You would contribute to teaching and training across our programmes, including developing and creating new programmes and short courses.
- The role will also involve being a member of the academic placement team, so experience and expertise in professional practice is required.
- Ideal candidate should be experienced and be enthusiastic about the subject.
- They should have an all-round grounding in Audiology.
- Although, a postgraduate qualification in Audiology would be beneficial, we are interested to hear from candidates with significant clinical experience, so it is ideal for someone moving into a more academic role.
- The candidate must be passionate about teaching and training and are creative and willing to develop further networks.
