Maths Lead Teacher - SEND

Teacher Active are working closely with a SEND School in Leicester who are looking for an experienced Maths lead teacher to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to lead Maths across the school while also delivering high-quality classroom teaching.

Responsibilities would include designing and implementing the Maths curriculum, monitoring pupils progress, supporting colleagues through collaboration, creating stimulating learning environments and building strong relationships with parents and carers.

The successful Maths lead teacher will:

• Have a QTS (Qualified teacher status)
• Have a clear passion for teaching Maths
• Be skilled at adapting teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs
• Be highly supportive of each student
• Be patient and understanding
• Strive to make a positive impact
