Position: English Lead Teacher - SEND Setting

Teacher Active are working closely with a SEND School in Leicester who are looking for an experienced English lead teacher to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to lead English across the school while also delivering high-quality classroom teaching.

Responsibilities would include designing and implementing the English curriculum, monitoring pupils progress, supporting colleagues through collaboration, Creating stimulating learning environments and building strong relationships with Parents and carers.

The successful English lead teacher will:

Have a QTS (Qualified teacher status).
Have a clear passion for teaching English.
Be skilled at adapting teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs.
Be highly supportive of each student.
Be patient and understanding.
Strive to make a positive impact.
