Overview

Teach mathematics at Beauchamp College, an 11-19 secondary school part of the Lionheart Educational Trust in Oadby, Leicestershire. Beauchamp is a culturally diverse and inclusive school with a strong commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver the Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 mathematics curriculum, including Core Maths, GCSE Mathematics, Level 2 Certificate in Further Mathematics and GCSE Statistics.
  • Use assessment and data to inform instruction and support pupil progress and attainment.
  • Cooperate with colleagues across the mathematics faculty to staff and manage dedicated classrooms and the staffroom.
  • Participate in the Lionheart Maths Hub initiative and contribute to maths school‑to‑school leadership.
  • Maintain professional standards, CPD and comply with safeguarding and statutory duties.
Qualifications
  • Qualified to teach mathematics at Key Stage 3‑5.
  • Degree (or equivalent) with a strong focus on mathematics.
  • Experience of teaching mathematics and a passion for inspiring pupils.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and the development of pupils from all backgrounds.
