Overview
A leading NHS Trust in Leicester seeks a Consultant in Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery to join a thriving HPB department. You will be responsible for managing outpatient and inpatient care, leading surgical procedures, and contributing to departmental governance. Travel to multiple sites in Leicester may be required.
Responsibilities- Manage outpatient and inpatient care for HPB patients.
- Lead surgical procedures and contribute to theatre activity.
- Contribute to departmental governance, audit, and quality improvement.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and training.
- Support service development across sites.
- Full GMC registration.
- Experience in Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary (HPB) surgery; relevant HPB surgical experience for a consultant role.
- Fellowship in HPB surgery or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Salary between £109,725 and £145,478 per year. Based in Leicester with travel to multiple sites as required.
