German Speaking Customer Service Team Leader
Location:
Leicestershire (commutable from surrounding areas)
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum
About the Company
We're working with a well-known international retail brand recognised for its high-quality products and exceptional multilingual customer service. They're now looking for an experienced German Speaking Customer Service Team Leader to manage and develop a small European support team, ensuring outstanding service across all markets.
The Role
As the German Speaking Customer Service Team Leader, you will oversee a small team of German and French-speaking advisors. You'll provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure a consistently high standard of customer service while driving performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Lead and support a small team of German and French-speaking advisors
Handle complex or escalated customer queries via email, phone, chat, and social media
Coach team members and assist with onboarding and training
Ensure all customer interactions are resolved efficiently and professionally
Collaborate with departments such as logistics, e-commerce, and marketing
Identify opportunities for process improvement and share best practices
The Candidate
Fluent in German (French advantageous) and English, both spoken and written
Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service
Experience handling escalated or complex queries
Strong communication, problem-solving, and team-support skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
