Design Lockeris looking for a full-time on-site Junior Designer to join the team in Leicester.

Working in a hands-on role, the successful applicant will collaborate with the Pattern Cutters and Sample Machinists to develop innovative and visually appealing Womenswear and Kidswear garments for high-street brands.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that all design projects align with client requirements and are completed within deadlines.
Maintaining an orderly workspace for design
Studio organisation and administrative support
Managing samples and materials
Handling day-to-day administrative tasks that support the design team.

Profile

Proficiency with design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate
Strong understanding of print design
Creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong collaboration and communication abilities to work effectively with team members and clients
Design experience or a portfolio illustrating design capabilities is a plus
Relevant educational background in Fashion Design, Visual Arts, or a related creative field is a plus
