Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time position based in Leicester for an Asbestos Surveyor. The role involves conducting asbestos surveys in various buildings and environments, including management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing samples, generating detailed and accurate survey reports, and ensuring all findings align with current regulations and safety standards. The Asbestos Surveyor will also engage with clients professionally and provide guidance on compliance and best practices related to asbestos management.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in conducting asbestos surveys, sampling, and inspections in various environments
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulations and safety standards related to asbestos management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to prepare detailed reports and advise clients clearly
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on-site
  • Relevant certifications, such as BOHS P402 or equivalent, are required
  • Full valid UK driving license is essential
  • Familiarity with survey equipment and software is advantageous
  • Flexibility to work across multiple locations and adapt to varying work environments
