Quantity Surveyor

Location: Keyham

Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge & the opportunity to join a leading tier 1 contractor who have been awarded several new Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Justice projects across the North West. This is a great opportunity to join a leading Tier 1 contractor who work on a number of complex interesting projects that vary in size between £20m and £100m.

They work across a variety of sectors including the commercial, healthcare, education, residential, sports & leisure sectors. As a Quantity Surveyor you will play a key role in delivering project commercial strategies, taking full responsibility for managing subcontract packages and implementing effective tender and procurement processes. You will drive project cashflow through proactive commercial management, oversee tender enquiries and subcontract orders, and work closely with the Commercial Lead to agree main and subcontract final accounts.

Experience / Qualifications

Required:

Proven track record of Quantity Surveying ideally 6-8 years post grad experience Academically Qualified with a BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent Background within a main contractor or developer environment Confident, commercially astute with good communication skills able to negotiate and manage subcontractors effectively Salary & Package on offer:
