Location
This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to work from Europcar locations, visit Head Office in Leicester, and attend customer sites 2–3 days per week. This may vary week to week depending on business needs. The role offers flexibility and autonomy to work where required in order to successfully deliver role objectives.
OverviewPrevious experience within the automotive or car rental sector is essential.
Responsible for building profitable corporate business by executing an effective sales strategy.
Working in a professional fast paced sales environment, you need to have a proactive, results driven, approach, a strong work ethic and a resilient attitude. Attention to detail and the ability to complete industry tenders is a key requirement.
Clear communicator with the aptitude to gain trust and confidence of prospects and colleagues across all levels.
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple prospects at different stages of the sales cycle.
The successful candidate will have excellent commercial awareness, able to handle objections, negotiate and close.
Responsibilities- Achieving and monitoring against clear targets set in order to grow corporate markets profitably
- Development of new business, as the product expands globally, to ensure sales targets are exceeded
- Responsible for revenue and achievements from all corporate business
- Work closely with financial planning for the clear preparation of pricing for all channels, which exceeds Europcar UK Group revenue and contribution requirements
- Monitoring the marketplace to ensure Europcar‘s pricing and products remain ahead of the competition
- Set clear sales goals in conjunction with the company’s strategy and plan work with all departments to ensure your sales strategies are fully supported
- Complete the required productivity measures as set by the New Business Director. This will include a minimum of face to face and video calls per month.
- Monthly tracking against this KPI to deliver the individual budget
- Ensure Salesforce and any sales tools are completely up to date and are fed back through clear concise reporting
- Completion of accurate customer/prospect records with SFA
- Ensure all reports are on time for managed reporting to be delivered to senior personnel
- Work closely with team to ensure any new business opportunities are managed effectively so as not to miss any new business wins
- Liaise, as required, with Group colleagues on any cross border opportunities
- Close liaison with all departments within company including marketing, legal, revenue management, financial planning and operations
- External contacts are kept up to date to ensure all is recorded and they are fully aware of the growth income
- Ensure forecasting is accounted for and reported back accurately
- Ensure any sales expenses are controlled to the company policy
- Ensure targets set; revenue and contribution are exceeded in line with company plan
- The drive and focus to meet and exceed revenue and contribution plans
- An excellent understanding of the UK car rental marketplace, with full understanding of competitor activity
- Self motivation, passion and a clear desire to succeed
- Excellent communication skills both internal and external
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills to achieve and exceed revenue budgets and improve contribution
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise time accordingly to key areas of focus
