The Wheel Inn is located in the heart of Oadby, a small market town near Leicester. The area has around 4,900 adults within a 10‑minute walk, with the majority aged 35‑54. There are two main competitors within the community segment and the Wheel Inn is one of six pubs within a 10‑20 minute walk. The pub offers a cozy escape and a sunny courtyard where customers can enjoy sports on an outside screen.

We’re looking for an operator with extensive experience in hospitality, a clear vision for food & drink, sports and entertainment offerings and marketing strategy. Ideally someone who knows the local area well and wants to be at the centre of the community, who enjoys hosting local sports teams, showing sports events, delivering a classic food menu and creating a memorable experience for customers.

• Host local sports teams and events.

• Show sports events on the inside and outside screens.

• Manage a simple food menu of classic pub dishes.

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and memorable experience for customers.

• Develop marketing strategies to promote the pub.

• Extensive experience in a similar hospitality business.

• Clear vision for food & drink, sport, entertainment and marketing.

• Knowledge of the local area and community engagement.
