Automotive VDA/Estimator required near Leicester

up to £40,0000

Monday to Friday – no weekends

Our client, a genuinely expanding Automotive Bodyshop near Leicester is seeking an experienced VDA/Estimator for their busy site.

Due to overload of work, this business is seeking someone to assist with the success and high-quality nature of the Bodyshop. With site expansion, over time, there will be further progression available in your training and career.

You will be responsible for damage assessment, negotiation, selling Bodyshop time, products, and services, and liaising with clients and automotive providers. You must hold experience of Audatex and have been a VDA previously.

The main duties of the role include:

* Determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, and electrical damage to vehicles.

* Accurately estimate parts and labour costs to repair damage.

* Prepare insurance forms to document repair costs and recommendations.

* Negotiate contracts with suppliers for parts and materials.

* Ensure all repairs are completed to the highest standard.

* Assist colleagues and provide guidance when necessary.

* Resolve day-to-day issues and support team productivity.

To be successful in the role you must:

* Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle technologies.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* Experience using Audatex

* Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
