Sales Order Processor

Salary: £28,000 - £29,000 per annum

Working hours:

Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

VH Talent is delighted to be partnering with our client to recruit a dedicated Sales Order Processor. This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing the full order lifecycle, from initial enquiry and quotation, through to processing, fulfilment and aftercare. You’ll ensure every customer receives a seamless, efficient and professional service.

We’re looking for a confident, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a customer-focused environment, enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in delivering excellent support.

The Sales Order Processor:

* Serve as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email and live chat

* Prepare accurate quotations, ensuring all specifications and measurements are correctly captured

* Process customer orders efficiently using internal systems

* Liaise with suppliers, couriers and internal departments to ensure orders are delivered on time and meet service level agreements

* Track and update customers on order progress

* Manage customer queries and complaints, offering appropriate solutions and processing refunds when required

* Maintain accurate documentation and support wider administrative duties as needed

You’ll Need:

* Strong customer service and communication skills

* Experience in sales order processing, customer service, B2B or B2C environments (advantageous but not essential)

* Solid administrative skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise

* High attention to detail and accuracy when recording order information

* Confident problem-solver with the ability to use initiative

* Proficiency across Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
