Job Summary and Qualifications Nuclear Medical Technologist - PRN/Per Diem Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Lehigh Hospital, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.

We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next career opportunity. Your tasks and responsibilities as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist may include but are not limited to:
Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans

Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders;
May administer and record dosages as well Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film Position patients and adjust immobilization devices

Compassionately explain procedures to patients

Monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation (MEDITECH)
Assist with transporting patients as needed

Qualifications Graduate of an accredited and AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program

Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Valid ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required
