Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN/per diem/as‑needed basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Lehigh Hospital, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.

• Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans.
• Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders; may administer and record dosages as well.
• Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film.
• Position patients and adjust immobilization devices.
• Compassionately explain procedures to patients.
• Monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation (MEDITECH).
• Assist with transporting patients as needed.

• Graduate of an accredited and AMA‑approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program.
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Valid ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire; ACLS within six months of hire.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
