Flatbed CDL A Driver

We are looking for experienced CDL‑A flatbed truck drivers to join System Transport's Division 295. If you are passionate about hauling specialty materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, coils, and specialty metals across the western U.S., this is the opportunity for you.

• Weekly pay: $936.79 – $1,721.34 (approx.)
• Annual pay: $48,713.24 – $89,509.48 (approx.)
• Flatbed regional rate: $0.68 – $0.72 per mile (based on experience)
• Additional accessorial compensation: tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety, and over‑dimensional pay
• Hiring bonus: $5,000 (limited time) plus quarterly $1,250 paid over 12 months
• Transition package: $1,800 (includes $1,000 orientation stipend)

• Transport important goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, coils, and specialty metals.
• Maintain safe driving practices and keep a clean record with no more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years.
• Operate a flatbed truck on regional routes and ensure securement of loads.
• Pass required background, drug, and clearinghouse checks.
• Be physically able to lift a 90‑pound tarp onto a 5‑foot platform twice during orientation.
• Weekends: off most weekends for a 34‑hour reset.

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum 4+ months experience driving a flatbed truck.
• Safe driving record; no more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years.
• Background, drug, and clearinghouse clearance.
• Physical ability to perform the tarp‑lift test.

System Transport does not allow pets. Riders aged 7 and up may ride after 90 days of safe driving.
