Scraper Operator

Wage: $17.50-$27.00 per hour DOE

Schedule:

Full time, overtime available

Benefits available after 60 days!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Minor maintenance and care of equipment.

* Able to load and dump dirt properly.

* Properly checks, lubricates and fuels any equipment that is asked to use.

* Communicates with other operators and grade checkers in cuts and fills.

* Understands machines limitations in different field conditions.

* Operate hand tools as necessary to complete the project.

* Set up and put away job equipment.

* Proper care and use of hand tools.

* Assist in the cleaning of tools, equipment and work areas.

* Report any unsafe condition, accident or injury to crew leader.

* Performs any other duties as assigned by crew leader.

Qualifications:

* Must have a valid driver license and clean MVR.

* Must be able to show proof of age over 18, identity and right to work in the US.

* Must be able to pass drug screen.

* 3+ years or more experience operating scraper is required.

* Must be familiar with the operation and minor maintenance of scrapers.

* Good verbal communication skills.

* Able to take orders and follow directions.

* Willing to learn to operate other types of heavy equipment.

* Must be able to lift, carry and transfer 100+ pounds frequently and perform considerable stooping, kneeling and digging.

* Must be able to work on scaffolding.
