This is a hybrid role based out of Salt Lake City, UT. Once office space is secured, employees are expected to be in the office Tuesday through Thursday.
We’re looking for a driven and energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact with potential customers and play a key role in building our sales pipeline. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to break into tech sales and grow in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
What You’ll Be Doing- Identify and research potential clients through outbound prospecting
- Prospect for, generate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities by making outbound (cold) calls and emails daily, reaching out to key decision makers
- Help prospects understand Sourgum’s solution and how it fits within their current operations and business processes
- Manage and update lead information in the CRM (e.g. Hub Spot)
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to refine messaging and outreach strategies
- Follow up with inbound leads from marketing campaigns and website forms
- Track outreach metrics and contribute to ongoing process improvements
- Maintain a strong understanding of our product and value proposition
- 0–2 years of sales, customer service, or lead generation experience (B2B SaaS experience is a plus but not required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated with a team-first mindset
- Comfortable with cold outreach and handling objections
- Coachable and eager to learn new tools, tactics, and strategies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
