Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction

KDK Construction, LLC is looking for a
Senior
Estimator to join our team in Lehi, Utah. An Estimator helps prepare cost estimates for construction projects based off the drawings, specifications, and other relevant project information provided by the client. The ideal person will have estimating experience for a general contractor in the Utah Market.

• Send bid invitations and follow up with subcontractors
• Define work scopes and identify possible scope gaps
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors
• Understand overall SF cost of various types of structures
• Understand costs for various materials
• Understand which materials and scopes have long lead times
• Understand means and methods of construction and various labor productivity rates
• Estimate costs of goods or services
• Confer with personnel to coordinate business operations
• Create and maintain organized estimate files
• Analyze business financial data
• Support estimators as required
• Performs all other duties as assigned

• Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar degree
• 7+ years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
• Knowledge of the subcontractor network in the Utah market preferred
