Job SummaryThe Sales Operations Specialist supports the sales organization by managing order workflows, maintaining accurate systems data, coordinating cross-department tasks, and ensuring efficient day-to-day sales operations.
Responsibilities- Process and validate sales orders in the ERP system
- Review pricing, terms, product availability, and required documentation
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to resolve order or billing issues
- Maintain data accuracy, including accounts and product details
- Track order status, fulfillment milestones, and communicate updates to internal teams
- Support sales onboarding with system access, training materials, and process guidance
- Assist in maintaining sales process documentation and SOPs
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend improvements
- Support execution of promotions, pricing updates, and product launches
- Handle internal support tasks such as office supply management and team supply runs
- Provide general operational assistance to the teams as needed
- 1–3 years in sales operations, order management, or sales support
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems (Net Suite, Dynamics, etc.)
- Clear communication skills across teams
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience in B2B, manufacturing, or distribution environments
- Knowledge of order-to-cash or quote-to-cash processes
