Become a Key Player as a Category Manager - Global FacilitiesYou will lead strategic sourcing and facilities procurement initiatives to ensure reliable, cost-effective services for the organization. You will work closely with senior internal partners, Global Strategic Sourcing, external suppliers, and Legal to execute RFx, negotiate commercial terms, and oversee contract compliance. This is a Hybrid role (2-3 days onsite).
Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team- Serve as liaison between internal business partners and external suppliers to design and execute sourcing projects for facilities
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and align sourcing strategies with business objectives
- Identify and pursue value-creating opportunities across facilities spend categories
- Manage contract dissemination, renewal strategies, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations
- Lead RFx processes and commercial negotiations to secure optimal sourcing outcomes
- Coordinate with Legal to ensure risk mitigation and robust SLAs
- Report weekly on progress, planning, and work-in-progress; maintain procurement system records for agreements and payment forecasts
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to strategic direction of sourcing/procurement initiatives
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or similar (MBA or JD preferred)
- 5–9 years' experience in Strategic Sourcing with an emphasis in facilities
- Familiarity with fiscal planning cycles and ad hoc financial analysis
- Mastery of MS Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Experience with BI reporting and spend analysis
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) with demonstrated ability to influence partners and receive/apply feedback
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to synthesize complex data into executive presentations
- Willingness to train and educate users on processes, policies, and technologies
- Strategic Sourcing/Procurement-related industry certification(s)
$46.76 - $58.45/hour
