Why this role matters:

The Licensing Administrator is responsible for managing contractor licensing, business licensing, and construction permitting activities for Remi. This position ensures full regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions where the company conducts business and supports field operations by maintaining accurate internal records to reduce project delays and minimize organizational risk. This is a full time, in office position in Lehi, UT.

What you’ll do:

Contractor & Business Licensing Management:
Research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of licensing requirements for roofing contractors, specialty contractors, and business entities across all municipalities where the company operates. Prepare, submit, and track applications for new licenses, license renewals, and contractor registrations. Coordinate corporate documentation (insurance certificates, bonds, financials, qualifying party credentials, etc.) required for licensing. Maintain digital files of all active licenses and renewal dates;

proactively manage expiration timelines to prevent lapses.

Regulatory Compliance &

Risk Management:

Ensure all licensing activities comply with federal, state, and local laws, building codes, and regulatory standards. Identify regulatory changes impacting operations and communicate updates to leadership, field teams, and compliance departments. Support internal audits by providing detailed records of licenses

Communication & Coordination:
Serve as the primary liaison between the company and building departments and other regulatory agencies. Work closely with project managers, operations teams, and sales to confirm license requirements, lead times, and jurisdictional constraints. Communicate license issuance timelines and any potential delays that could impact project scheduling.

Documentation & Record Keeping:
Maintain an organized and up-to-date database of all licenses, applications, contact information for AHJs, and jurisdictional requirements. Prepare periodic status reports for leadership and operations teams outlining permit metrics, renewals, and workflow volumes. Ensure all documentation is stored in accordance with company policies.

What we’re looking for:

Strong knowledge of business and contractor licensing requirements.

Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-management skills with AHJs.

High attention to detail, organization, and ability to track multiple deadlines.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and varying jurisdictional processes.

Proficiency with licensing portals and Google Workspace tools.
