** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to clinical staff and/or leadership as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas such as lobbies, corridors, waiting rooms, and parking areas, as well as exterior perimeter checks; working environments and conditions may vary by post.

+ Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing traffic flow, checking identification and/or visitor passes when required, and directing individuals to the appropriate department.

+ Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and on-site contacts.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + The client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
