** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or potential security-related concerns within the healthcare location.

+ Collaborate with facility staff and local law enforcement when required to address incidents or emergencies.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related events as required by site procedures.

+ Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the healthcare facility, verifying identification as needed.

+ Support Allied Universal in delivering high-quality security-related services tailored to the unique needs of healthcare locations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Proof of hospital-required vaccines is required.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
