** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies and emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities.

+ Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents.

+ Complete detailed incident and/or shift reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

+ Maintain awareness of surroundings and promptly report any security-related concerns or irregularities to appropriate personnel.

+ Follow all protocols for handling and carrying firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

+ Have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
