** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or incidents to the appropriate personnel as required.

+ Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general information as needed, maintaining a professional and approachable presence.

+ Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by site protocols.

+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related situations in a timely and professional manner.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required for this client.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
