Food Service Worker​/Cashier

Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Inova Loudon Hospital, 44045 Riverside Parkway, Leesburg, VA 20176. Online applications accepted only.

Full time schedule; days may vary, 5:30 am to 1:00 pm or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.

Prior cashier or customer service experience is required.

• Pay range: $17.50 per hour to $17.75 per hour.
• $750 sign-on bonus, 1/2 paid at 90 days and 1/2 paid at 180 days.

• Performs cashiering duties and sales transactions; enters sales into the cash register and issues receipts.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables; weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator; distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Stores foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils; ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolves customer inquiries in a service-oriented manner.
• Relays relevant information to supervisor; follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds and managing cash drawers.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
