Quality Control Inspector

As a Quality Control Inspector , you will play a hands‑on role in ensuring products meet specifications, regulatory requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) before reaching patients and surgeons.
What You’ll Do:- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of purchased, in-process, and finished product using drawings, procedures, and work instructions
- Inspect labeling and non‑sterile products in accordance with documented specifications
- Accurately record inspection results in the electronic quality database
- Transact materials and inspection status in the inventory control system (JD Edwards)
- Initiate quarantine tickets for nonconforming product and support prescribed nonconformance processes
- Meet established productivity and quality targets
- Follow all quality system procedures, safety requirements, and GMP standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or technical training preferred
- 0–2 years of quality, inspection, or manufacturing-related experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Working knowledge of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, optical comparators, or video measurement equipment preferred
- Basic understanding of machining processes
- Familiarity with GMP requirements for Class II medical devices preferred
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and maintain records
- Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including experience with databases and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team

Compensation:Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience. Final compensation is determined on a case‑by‑case basis and considers factors such as skillset, experience level, and market conditions.
