Quality Control Inspector
Location: Leesburg, VA

As a Quality Control Inspector , you will play a hands‑on role in ensuring products meet specifications, regulatory requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) before reaching patients and surgeons.

What You’ll Do:
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of purchased, in-process, and finished product using drawings, procedures, and work instructions
  • Inspect labeling and non‑sterile products in accordance with documented specifications
  • Accurately record inspection results in the electronic quality database
  • Transact materials and inspection status in the inventory control system (JD Edwards)
  • Initiate quarantine tickets for nonconforming product and support prescribed nonconformance processes
  • Meet established productivity and quality targets
  • Follow all quality system procedures, safety requirements, and GMP standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring:
  • High school diploma or GED required; some college or technical training preferred
  • 0–2 years of quality, inspection, or manufacturing-related experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Working knowledge of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, optical comparators, or video measurement equipment preferred
  • Basic understanding of machining processes
  • Familiarity with GMP requirements for Class II medical devices preferred
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and maintain records
  • Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with databases and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
