Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor – Behavioral Health

Inova Behavioral Health Services, located at Inova Loudoun Hospital Cornwall Campus, is seeking a full‑time, compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse Unit Supervisor for the day shift (12‑hour, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm with rotating weekends). Sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance are available.

• Lead the unit as a front‑line manager, accountable for delivering reliable results related to quality and best practices to improve clinical operations.
• Embrace and apply evidence‑based nursing practice and quality tools.
• Support unit‑based shared governance and decentralised decision‑making structures and processes.
• Model “Service Always” by making patient experience a priority in all interactions.
• Encourage and empower the team to provide genuine acts of care, appreciation, recognition, coaching, mentoring, and encouragement.
• Promote Inova’s “People Priority” by providing supportive, compassionate care to all patients and staff.

• Basic Life Support certification.
• Completion of a revised Charge Nurse workshop within 3 months of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or Associate’s Degree RN within 1 year of completing a BSN).

• Previous inpatient behavioral health experience is preferred.
