Join us! We are seeking a certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to support our OB/GYN clinic located in Leesburg, VA. The candidate will need to be within driving distance of the facility.

This is a PRN position. It is ideal,
but not required
, to utilize bilingual Spanish communication skills to deliver exceptional customer service to our diverse patient base. Join us in making a meaningful impact on our patients' experience.

Responsibilities
  • Under direction of providers, assist with patient care, assessment and procedures; collaborate with providers in the treatment and well-being of all patients during pregnancy.
  • Facilitate efficient flow of patients through the clinic. Serve as a critical link between the providers and patients by managing patient phone calls and communicating results of testing, surgery schedules, procedures, etc.
  • Provide patient education regarding prenatal and post-partum care.
  • Obtain vital signs, nursing history, physical assessment and document patient care, procedures and patient assessments in the medical record.
  • Maintain neat and clean patient exam rooms and work areas; follow infection control policies and procedures in cleaning equipment and all areas of the clinic.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Experience assisting with OB/GYN clinical duties. Obstetrics experience is preferred.
  • In this position it is ideal but not required to utilize bilingual Spanish communication skills to deliver exceptional customer service to our diverse patient base. Join us in making a meaningful impact on our patients' experience.
  • Education:

    High School Diploma required. Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Intermediate computer skills required.
  • Must have ability to handle appropriate confidential information.
  • Must have excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials used in the clinic required.
  • Must have ability to work in new situations, grasp new ideas and adapt to new procedures.
  • Must have ability to evaluate available data and come to sound conclusions.
