Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated Sterile Processing Technicians Lead to join the OR team. This role is full-time (40 hrs/week) Day shift working Monday to Friday and every other weekend from 7:00am-3:30pm. We offer competitive pay based on experience, plus other benefits and perks.

• Assemble complex trays and instrumentation accurately and efficiently.
• Prioritize instruments and use critical thinking to provide solutions for OR needs.
• Assume leadership and supervisory role within the department.
• Decontaminate instruments in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Ensure sterility of all processed items and maintain instruments for timely distribution to all customers.
• Manage instrument inventory and ensure timely distribution of instruments to all customers.
• Train others to be competent in all areas of sterilization.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• Experience:
  
  Two-year Sterile Processing experience required
• Certification: CRCST or CBSPD certification from IAHCSMM (CRCST) or CBSPD
