OVERVIEW

SILTT is seeking an Associate Construction Manager-as-Agent (Associate CMa) to support the Owner’s Representative team on complex construction projects in varied and often remote locations worldwide.

This is a development-track role intended for high-potential early-career professionals who demonstrate strong work ethic, field curiosity, and the desire to grow into a full-scope CMa.

The Associate CMa supports senior Construction Managers in executing field oversight responsibilities, maintaining documentation discipline, tracking performance, and reinforcing safety, quality, and schedule objectives. This position is designed to provide structured exposure to field leadership while developing independent technical judgment over time.

Individuals who are motivated, observant, disciplined, and eager to learn will thrive in this role.

WHO WE ARE

At SILTT we’re pushing the limits of infrastructure innovation in the Telecommunications and Information Technology industry. From delivering world-class modular data center facilities to all-hours, 365-day operational response and disaster recovery, our multi-functional team of experts are force multipliers across the infrastructure landscape. We pride ourselves in leading from the front to advise, assist, and accompany our clients through their toughest technological and operational challenges.

WHY

SILTT

At SILTT, “objective-driven” begins with being “people-driven.” As a small business, we understand that developing strong professionals requires investment. We provide paid healthcare, competitive 401K matching, accrued paid time off and fixed holiday leave, and professional development support.

More importantly, we provide opportunity - structured mentorship, real field exposure, and a defined path toward full CMa responsibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Associate Construction Manager-as-Agent (Associate CMa), you will support the Owner’s Representative team through structured field oversight, documentation discipline, and regional milestone verification assignments. You will operate under the guidance of a senior CMa or regional construction manager while developing independent judgment and field awareness.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1
- Field Oversight & Site Presence

Support daily on-site observation activities to monitor contractor performance, installation sequencing, and compliance with Contract Documents. Document field conditions, identify visible deficiencies, and elevate findings to the supervising CMa or SILTT Project Manager. Develop working knowledge of construction means and methods through direct field exposure.

2
- Milestone Verification & Regional Deployment

Conduct structured site visits to verify contractor-reported milestone completion across projects within an assigned region.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Physical verification of milestone status against approved schedules
  • Photographic documentation and condition reporting
  • Validation of installation progress against drawings and specifications
  • Support of pay application review through independent field confirmation
  • Preparation of concise field assessment summaries for regional leadership

Associate CMAs provide verification and reporting support; formal certification and contractual approval authority remain with the SILTT Project Manager or senior CMa.

3
- Documentation & Information Management

Maintain and update project logs including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, action item registers, deficiency logs, and milestone trackers. Support preparation of weekly and monthly reporting inputs by translating field observations into structured documentation. Ensure project records are current, organized, and aligned with contractual enforcement standards.

4
- Schedule & Performance Tracking

Assist in verifying contractor-reported progress through field observation and schedule comparison. Track milestone variances and elevate potential delays to supervising leadership. Develop awareness of how field conditions impact schedule integrity and cost exposure.

5
- Schedule Management
