Mandarin Teacher (Grades 3–9) for  Academic Year First Trinity Academy is seeking a qualified and professional Mandarin Teacher to teach students in Grades 3–9 starting August 2026.

This position is ideal for an educator with strong instructional skills and excellent classroom management who can teach complete beginners and guide them toward long-term proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin.

• Teach Mandarin to students in Grades 3–9, including students with no prior language experience
• Develop and deliver structured, age-appropriate lessons that build foundational and progressive language skills
• Foster growth in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Mandarin
• Maintain a positive, orderly, and productive classroom environment
• Use effective classroom management strategies to support student learning and engagement
• Assess student progress regularly and provide clear feedback to students, progress reports, and report cards to families
• Collaborate with school leadership and staff to support student success

• Experience teaching Mandarin to elementary and/or middle school students preferred
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills required
• Ability to teach beginners in a clear, patient, and structured manner
• Commitment to helping students progress toward fluency over time
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Language, or related field preferred
• Teaching certification is a plus (not required, depending on school requirements)

This teacher should be able to build confidence in beginner learners while maintaining high academic expectations.
