What You'll Be Doing:
- Operating excavation and trenchless equipment with confidence
- Directing and supporting your helper while keeping the site safe and efficient
- Troubleshooting on the fly and keeping projects moving forward
- Communicating with supervisors, customers, and inspectors
- Maintaining detailed documentation and upholding safety standards
As our Lead Underground Utility Excavator, you'll be the driving force behind complex underground utility projects-installing, repairing, and replacing sewer and water lines using advanced trenchless technology and traditional excavation. This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions matter, and your excavation expertise shines.
Our Offer to You:
- Competitive Pay: $75,000 - $100,000 per year
- Stable Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday + occasional overtime

You're a Fit if You Have:
- Experience in underground utility work, including pipe bursting and re-lining methods, as well as traditional excavation
- Experience guiding a helper or small team
- Strong knowledge of equipment operation and job site safety
- Ability and willingness to perform physical labor as the primary worker on the crew
- Ability to solve problems and work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work Monday–Friday with occasional overtime
