EXCAVATION CREW HELPER QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Ability to closely follow instructions and safety protocols
• Comfort with working in trenches, confined spaces, and around heavy machinery
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Willingness to work early mornings, overtime, and occasional weekends
• Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation

DAY-TO-DAY

Our Excavation Crew Helper typically works 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday with some overtime and flexibility depending on the job.

You'll keep your blood pumping and your body moving in this entry-level labor position as you work closely with your team to accurately and efficiently dig trenches. Using hand and power tools, you carefully excavate work sites to uncover underground utilities and sewer lines. You help set up the job site, establish safety barriers, and clean debris to maintain a safe and neat work area.

You also help out your team by loading materials, maintaining tools and equipment, and spotting operators as they're using machinery.
