The Opportunity:

St. Luke’s East is seeking an Armed Security Sergeant to join our team. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of hospital security operations, including routine patrols, approved security response protocols, and accurate reporting of incidents and issues in accordance with departmental procedures. Security Sergeants serve as direct-line supervisors, providing leadership, guidance, and training for all security activities on their assigned shift.

Responsibilities include shift scheduling, performance management, and initiating disciplinary actions when necessary. Sergeants are also responsible for conducting initial investigations and surveillance in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Candidates must be proficient in all security department functions and duties, including emergency and routine call responses, dispatching operations, and security system management.

Must be 21 years or older
