The Product Specialist - Terberg Terminal Tractors will cultivate, maintain, and expand relationships within the terminal tractor product line, representing the Terberg line of products and services to customers, while leading customer acquisition and account life cycle, and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by RION Equipment. The Product Specialist is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic objectives.

PRIMARY PRODUCT SPECIALIST

JOB DUTIES:
  • Networking, establishing partnerships, onsite customer visits, cold calling, following up on leads and hand-delivering proposals.
  • Develop and grow business relationships with prospective and established customers in targeted industries to generate business opportunities for the Terberg product line.
  • Research sources for developing customers and prospects and determine potential sales contribution by revenue channel.
  • Create actionable account plans to effectively gain business with new customers.
  • Contribute to RION Equipment promotion activities. Attends trade shows; furnishes field research data; serves as public relations representative.
  • Stay informed on Yard Truck or Terminal Tractor competitive equipment and go-to-market strategies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience selling and renting to, or sales management of, Yard or Shag Truck customers preferred.
  • Competent in sales techniques with an intimate knowledge of competitive equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and presentable appearance a must.
  • Must be able to travel assigned territory on an almost daily basis.
  • Computer literacy and attention to detail required.
