Job Summary and Qualifications

The role of the Clinical Nurse Manager is to supervise patient care and services that support patient care including RNs, OR Techs, EVS Technician in OR, Sterile Processing techs. Under guidelines set by policy and general supervision of Director/administrator ,performs administrative tasks, patient related tasks and supervises the Operating Room and Sterile Processing departments, staff and programs.

Collaborates with physicians and other departments to coordinate the needs of patients and families.

Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner.

Supports the mission and vision of Lee's Summit Medical Center.

The Clinical Nurse Manager in 701 Operating Room provides care for ages 1-12 Months Infant, 1-2 Yrs Toddler, 3-6 Yrs Early Child, 7-11 Yrs Child, 12-17 Yrs Adolescent, 18-39 Yrs Young Adult, 40-64 Yrs Adult and 65+ Geriatric patients.

Certifications:

Must have a current MO RN license upon hire or a current multistate RN license.

If only a multistate RN license is provided upon hire, a MO RN license will be required within 90 days of employment. BLS required upon hire and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Experience:

1 years of previous Operating Room or related experience required. Previous leadership experience preferred.
