The Opportunity
Saint Luke’s East in Lee’s Summit is seeking a Pre‑Op/PACU RN to join their Perianesthesia team. In this position, you will provide pre‑procedural and post‑procedural care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing procedures in the Main Operating Room, hospital‑based GI suites, and select cases within the Radiology Department. Surgical specialties seen include Bariatrics, ENT, General, Gynecology/Obstetrics, Spinal Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology, Urology‑Gynecology, Vascular, and Robotics.
Procedural specialties seen include Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, and Interventional Radiology.
Full‑Time Days, plus call shifts. This is a tight‑knit collaborative team that supports each other and are willing to go above and beyond for their peers, our patients, and their families. They are a customer focused team where patient experience is a top priority.
The Work- Provides pre‑operative and post‑operative care for inpatient and outpatient procedures.
- Utilizes the nursing process.
- Performs patient care, delegating patient care tasks and supervising other patient care staff.
- Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consults with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Experience:
1 year
Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nursing (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
Associate Degree - Nursing.
