Overview
The Supply Chain Operations Manager II provides leadership for multiple business units and/or 1-2 hospitals with $20+ million in annual supply spend. This position oversees all supply chain functions including inventory management, receiving, distribution, par management, laundry linen services, performance improvement, and procurement. It is responsible for developing and implementing KPIs, service level metrics, and processes to support hospital operations, and for driving continuous improvement to ensure end-to-end supply chain functions meet and/or exceed customer needs.
Manages individuals including hiring, training, assigning work, managing and evaluating performance, and developing professional growth plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of the team support the department’s overall operational goals. Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and responds to business changes that may affect budget goals. Adjusts organizational structure to support current and future business unit requirements;
recruits and develops talent to support transformation projects and initiatives; builds and maintains an inclusive and engaged culture focused on organizational health.
Collaborates with clinicians, distributors, suppliers, and management at various levels to optimize inventory levels and maintain service levels; identifies operational and supply cost opportunities; implements saving and cost avoidance measures. Utilizes and deploys business intelligence from multiple inventory management and ERP systems (People Soft, Syft, Wavemark, Tableau, etc.) to make actionable decisions that add value and efficiencies for Saint Luke’s supply chain operations.
Provides operational leadership for system-level transformational projects across multiple business units or hospitals; ensures scalability and sustainability across service lines (Perioperative Services, Med Surge, Cardiac Cath Labs, Interventional Radiology, Laundry and Linen, etc.). Develops and implements plans to drive workforce efficiencies aligned to hospital goals and objectives; identifies potential financial and operational risks and implements mitigation plans for multiple business units or sites.

5-10 years; 2-5 years of supervisor experience required. 3-5 years Bachelor’s Degree.
