As a Supply Coordinator for Perioperative Services
, you'll be the organizational force behind smooth, efficient, and well-stocked surgical and interventional procedures. From managing inventory across multiple clinical areas to coordinating with vendors and tracking supply levels, your attention to detail will help keep patient care running seamlessly.
- Take ownership of all perioperative supply areas (think: Pyxis, supply rooms, carts, procedure rooms—you name it!)
- Monitor and maintain PAR levels so that our teams always have what they need, when they need it
- Communicate with vendors to coordinate orders, deliveries, and restocking
- Keep accurate records and reports to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
- Work hand-in-hand with clinical teams to meet supply needs and tackle urgent requests
- Spot inefficiencies and bring forward smart, data-driven solutions
- A high school graduate (or equivalent)
- Experienced in hospital inventory—especially in the OR or materials management (3+ years preferred)
- Detail-oriented and calm under pressure (especially when a procedure is minutes away and a supply is needed)
- A clear and confident communicator who works well with everyone—clinicians, vendors, and teammates alike
- Excel-savvy and comfortable using inventory management tools
- Known for delivering top-notch customer service
- An associate degree
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in an OR or emergency department setting (nurse, tech, etc.)
- Familiarity with automated systems like Pyxis
- A problem-solver who loves turning chaos into order
- You’ll be a key part of life-saving procedures without having to suit up for surgery
- Your organizational superpowers will directly support patient safety and efficiency
