What You'll Be Doing- Getting Patients Ready to Shine – Prep charts, check vitals, and set the stage for great care!
- Hands-On Clinical Work – Administer meds, give immunizations, collect specimens, and assist with minor procedures like wound care, suture removal, and more.
- Tech Savvy & Detail-Oriented – Keep patient records up to date in our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Team Player Extraordinaire – Support providers, participate in team huddles, and help keep the clinic running like a well-oiled machine.
- Patient Educator – Help patients understand their treatment plans, new medications, and follow-up care.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent and Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program
- Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NRCMA, or CCMA) – Required at time of hire and must be maintained.
- Certification: Current BLS Certification (or ability to obtain before starting).

Skills:
Knowledge of POCT, Immunizations, and Injections – You’ll be giving shots like a pro! - Strong Problem-Solving
Skills:
You think on your feet and adapt quickly. - Excellent Organization & Time Management: You keep things running like a well-oiled machine.
- Customer Service Rockstar: Patients feel comfortable and cared for in your hands.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft applications and EMR systems.
- Radiology Certification (if applicable): If the role requires X-ray functions, you must have radiology training from your MA program or a validated competency checklist.
