Care Assistant Early Mornings Part Time

Overview

Qualicare KC Home Care is seeking an Overnight Care Assistant for private in-home care (N. Lee’s Summit/S. Blue Springs Area). This is private in-home care for a physically disabled adult recovering from an injury (non-senior).

8:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Additional hours may be available for the right fit. This client is 7 days a week, 24 hours each day.

She is a kind and pleasant individual who values dignity, organization, and consistency. She requires assistance with:

• Restroom needs
• Showering and personal care (good organization and attention to detail are important)
• Light housekeeping
• Transfers (some lifting required, but not heavy)

• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and assist with transfers safely
• Strong bedside manner and respectful communication
• Dependable and punctual — reliability is crucial, as this is part of a 24/7 care schedule
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive

• Be caring and compassionate toward clients and their caretakers
• Show up on TIME
• Assistance with personal care and hygiene, including incontinence briefs etc.
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication assist/reminders
• Ambulation and transporting of clients
• Provide companionship to clients
• Ability to follow care-plan
• Documentation/Charting
