• Follow a floor care schedule to keep surfaces looking sharp and squeaky clean.
• Operate a variety of floor machines — buffers, scrubbers, polishers, extractors — safely and efficiently.
• Strip, wax, refinish, and maintain all types of floors throughout the building.
• Tackle project work like deep cleans and spot‑treatments as assigned.
• Pitch in with general housekeeping duties when needed — because teamwork makes the dream work.
• Read and understand labels on cleaning supplies to stay safe and smart.
• Communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and teammates — we’re all in this together!

• A friendly, team‑player attitude and strong work ethic.
• Solid communication skills in English — both speaking and reading.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift 50+ pounds safely and work on your feet for a full shift.
• Experience bending, stooping, and hustling hard during floor projects.
• Comfort with using powered equipment like vacuums, buffers, and scrubbers — and keeping them in tip‑top shape.
• A knack for following safety guidelines and infection control standards.
• Willingness to learn — and to pass a competency assessment within your first 30–60 days on the job.

• 6+ months of floor care or Environmental Services experience (especially in healthcare or similar settings).

• High School Diploma or GED.
