- Train and coach a successful sales team in the pursuit of small business and consumer clients.
- Achieve specific sales and service goals by providing a full range of business banking services to clients with an emphasis on deposit, treasury management, and loan products.
- Represent the Bank in the community and drive the Work Perks Banking initiatives with business clients.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of mortgage, business, and installment loan options, providing a broad base of financial and credit services.
- Assist other departments as needed, build rapport with clients and associates, and treat others with respect and consideration.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent.
- 3 years banking experience with external business development.
- Become registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required by the S.A.F.E. Act, and NBH's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results.
- Valid driver’s license (may not be learner’s, restricted or “to and from work” license) and driving history that meets the Bank’s driver standards; verified in a Motor Vehicle Report.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Treasury Management sales experience.
- Consumer lending background and business lending experience.
- Driven and motivated self‑starter.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of risk management.
- Passionate about proactive sales and prospecting of new business.
- Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to speak effectively to internal and external clients.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Logical thinking to analyze situations and make sound decisions.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capacity to work with multiple computer and software systems.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as cash back and percentages.
This role is eligible to participate in a scorecard‐based incentive plan, which can significantly increase your overall compensation. Incentives are earned quarterly based on the associate’s performance against the defined metrics as outlined in the score card.
